It is no secret that the Weber Summit Grill is considered to be one of the best outdoor grills. This Summit series comes with a wide variety of features. In fact, some backyard grilling enthusiasts may feel that these models have more bells and whistles than they even thought possible! In general, all of Weber Natural Gas Grills get rave reviews. But how does the Weber Summit Grill compare to the other outdoor grills in its class?
One grill that can be compared to the Weber Summit grill is the Ducane Meridian 32 inch 5 Burner Grill, which is available in both propane as well as natural gas. However, we found quite a few complaints about the Ducane Meridian. For example, of the reviews we surveyed some people complained of uneven cooking. The back of the cooking grate may be hotter than other parts. Another review we saw stated that the burners on the right side did not heat up as well as the other burners. Upon surveying reviews of the Weber Summit grill, people routinely say the food was cooked evenly and was consistently top quality. People also complained that the factory assembly in the Ducane Meridian is not flawless, and some of the preassembled parts were not installed perfectly. Also apparently, the burner tubes need to be replaced frequently. On the plus side, similarly to Weber, Ducane Meridian also offers a great warranty for customers.
Another grill that we compared is the KitchenAid Stainless Steel 48" Build in Grill. This one has 851 inches for the primary cooking area. Although this grill has fairly similar specs to the Weber Summit, it is typically far more expensive. Also, the KitchenAid typically costs 0-0 more. For this extra money, the KitchenAid grill does not offer significantly more to the customer. This is also the case with the Lynx 36 inch freestanding ProSear grill with rotisserie. Although the Lynx is a great grill, customers can receive much more for their money with the Weber Summit Grill.
After comparing the Weber with some of the other models, the Summit Grill came out on top.
